Download Real Steel Full. Download Real Steel Full movie database. It is the near future and boxing has been outlawed, to be replaced by giant robots fighting instead. Charlie Kenton (Hugh Jackman) once a boxer of promise, is a small-time proprietor of fighting robots. He owes money all over the place, and is essentially a self-centred loser. Even his on-off girlfriend Baily (Evangeline Lilly) his childhood friend daughter of his late trainer, sees no hope for him. Into his life comes Max (Dakota Goyo) his long-forgotten 11 year old son by a recently deceased ex-girlfriend. Her sister Debra (Hope Davis) wants to adopt him although, as a matter of law, Charlie has custody. On learning that Debra's husband Marvin (James Rebhorn) is worth a bob or two, Charlie sees and opportunity to sell his rights to Max and solve all his problems. Marvin is amenable, except that they don't want Max for a couple of months because it would interrupt their holiday plans. So Charlie is stuck with Max. For now.
This film, as many have pointed out, is a curious mixture of Transformers and Rocky, as Charlie and Max pursue robot fighting success through a series of bouts. It is also, as far fewer people have pointed out, derivative of Rain Man in that Charlie Kenton, like Tom Cruise's Charlie Babbitt, is a self-centred loser who finds his way to personal redemption through the medium of a road trip with an unwanted relative. I wonder if the choice of Charlie as the main character's name is deliberate? From the trailers, this film struck me as amiable but daft. But it turns out to be more than that. Even though the story never really goes anywhere unexpected, it still takes place in a different world and, as such, offers us something new (and, by the way, the special effects are extraordinary - it is absolutely impossible to tell when animatronics stop and CGI takes over. It is blessed with performances which are wonderfully human.
But, most of all, it has a huge amount of heart. I spent a great deal of the movie beaming broadly, and I thoroughly recommend it.

Real Steel is the Real Deal for the whole family.
I first taught it won't make it. A prejudice of mine. I was wrong. It is a well-balanced story between Drama (father son relation) and Action (robot fights. The fine thing about it, it is even suitable for the whole family as the violence only happens between machines.
Sometimes the drama passages get a little bit too long for a true action fan, but it pays out. Thank god it is not something like Transformers, which is a full crap that belongs in the dump bucket.
On the other side it doesn't bring up something really new. Each idea already was seen before.
